"Iraqi Apples 1992" was mache and mixed-media applied onto real apples using ticker paper debris that fell on my studio's deck during the parade held for returning "Desert Storm" soldiers down Broadway in NYC.
"Iraqi Apple 2011" is one of those same mache-covered apples 19 years later.
